What’s New
September 2011
We are excited for school this year. We have a new home, very close to our church, which will allow us to commune and worship daily, alongside our daily lessons.
We are using Apologia’s Exploring Creation science curriculum this year, and so far, it is a big hit! We are also in our second year of using the high-school level ‘Understanding the Catechism’ series, with The Creed lessons. Even tho the grade levels are higher, they have been easily comprehended and welcomed by the boys.
We are sticking with Saxon Math series, however, I am getting concerned with how slowly the boys are moving through these lessons. We will give it another year, but we may be exploring other options, like Singapore Math.
